FINALLY, A NEW BOOK!

Hello to Your Eyeballs!

I finally have concrete news on my next book: it's finished! 

Next steps: I could do with BETA READERS to let me know if it all makes sense, and I need to format it for print and e-book sales. I've also decided to use a separate cover artist this time, but I have some people in mind to ask. 

WHAT IS IT?

THIS VILLAGE NEVER DREAMS is a horror/urban fantasy with a touch of noir and a weird sense of humour. It may or may not be a stealth prequel to A Wretched Place. 

Jack Green is a PI with a bad habit of people dying around him. And usually, it's because of monsters. This Village Never Dreams presents several cases that have had a terrible impact on Jack's life and build up an overarching story. Also, he's telling a shrink about the cases so he might be nuts. MIGHT BE.

WHY DID IT TAKE SO LONG?

I intended to start publishing a book a year after I published A Wretched Place, but the fact I have enough content to do this idea is also the reason I'm only just now getting around to publishing something else - I've been working on about five other novels, so I just had to try and focus on one long enough to finish it...!

Plus, last May I started a new musical side project that proved popular enough that it became my main creative project: Professional Hairdresser is a 'barber beats' project that encompasses triphop, breakbeat, drum n bass, jazz, and a couple of side-side projects that veer into black metal and signalwave.

I also changed jobs and now work as a Senior Editor and video game journalist! It's currently just me and the Editor in Chief so we're kept pretty busy. If you like video game stuff, then give our articles an eyeball.
